For stage, Serena has just finished a National tour of THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, where she plays one of the leads. She was cast as one of the leads in Nadia Fall’s WELCOME TO IRAN for The National Theatre which was sadly cancelled just before lockdown but has plans to return later this year. She starred in the one woman show TO BUILD A ROCKET which toured nationally.

Mark has been writing for and occasionally appearing on TV and radio for over a quarter of a century, and is consequently quite tired now. He created and wrote five series of Sony Award winning comedy ‘Bleak Expectations’ for Radio 4 and, fairly obviously, this stage version of the same; a Christmas Special and series of ‘The Bleak Old Shop Of Stuff’ for BBC Two; the Audible original comedy ‘Raj!’ which he co-created with Meera Syal; and has recently adapted six Quentin Blake stories for an animated series due on the BBC in 2024. Amongst his other credits, he was a major contributor to and appeared in five series of BAFTA winning, ‘That Mitchell & Webb Look’; did the same for three series of CBBC’s ‘Sorry, I’ve Got No Head’; was an originating writer on ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’; has written multiple episodes of children’s shows such as ‘Hank Zipzer’, ‘Dani’s Castle’ and ‘Millie In Between’; co-wrote two episodes of BBC Three’s ‘Bluestone 42’; script edited four series of R4’s ‘Reluctant Persuaders’; wrote several series of Welsh rugby legend Jonathan Davies’ rugby-themed chat show ‘Jonathan’; and once wrote over six hundred jokes for Dale Winton, none of which he used. He lives in North London with one wife, two children and a cat… even though he’s really a dog person.

Caroline’s acclaimed work has toured nationally and internationally, including Ian Hislop and Nick Newman’s The Wipers Times which also had two runs at The Arts Theatre, West-End. She’s currently a finalist for an Offie Award for her recent production of Sleeping Beauty, and is part of the Creative Leadership Team at Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, where she will be directing the world premiere of two plays this year. Caroline specialises in the dramaturgy and directing of new writing and mentors early career theatre directors in her role as Lead Practitioner in Directing at LAMDA. Caroline studied English and Drama at Bristol University before training in directing at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Early in her career she was an Associate Director at Salisbury Playhouse, Interim Artistic Director at NYMT, staff director at The National Theatre, Associate Director on The 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre and Associate Director to Katie Mitchell on a number of projects. Tom is one of the UKs busiest musicians, working across all genres from the concert platform, The National Theatre, to the recording studio where he regularly leads orchestras for film and television. A scholar at the Royal College of Music, Tom gave his recital debut at the Wigmore Hall in October 2000 to critical acclaim. His prizes include The Myra Hess award, two major awards by the Ian Fleming Charitable Trust, a Martin Musical Scholarship, several awards from the Countess Of Munster Musical Trust, a Martin Scholarship and the prestigious Emily English Award. Most recent credits include leading orchestras for Good Omens, The 355, Zac Znyder’s Justice League, Godzilla Kings and Monsters, Rocketman, Ken Loach’s ‘Sorry we Missed You’ (composed by George Fenton) and as a featured soloist on ‘Abominable’. Max Richter’s score for “My Brilliant Friend” includes his solo violin playing, as do Peter Gregson’s “Patina”, David Arnold’s score for “Inside Man” and Chuck D’s “Fight the Power”. Recent commmercial recordings include leading orchestras on Nick Cave’s album Ghosteen, Jessie Ware’s new album and the Grammy nominated, Oscar winning song “I’m Gonna Love me Again” by Elton John. Live, he has led orchestras for Shirley Bassey, Jeff Beck and Kylie as well as appearing as violin soloist for Nitin Sawhney’s sold out Roundhouse Concert in 2022. Recent classical recordings include leading Chamber Domaine on a disc of Sibelius works for small string orchestra conducted by Thomas Kemp. His recording of Leos Janacek’s violin sonata recorded with pianist Huw Watkins at the Warehouse, London is now available on all major platforms. His music can be heard on TV worldwide. As an orchestrator his most recent work can be heard on the most recent series of Endeavour, airing on ITV later this year. As an arranger, he worked on the long- awaited forthcoming album from McFly produced by Jason Perry.

Ella Wahlström is a London-based sound designer, she was born in Finland and moved to London in 2010 to train at Rose Bruford College. Ella is a board member of the Association of Sound Designers. Her recent sound design credits include: Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Ethel Barrymore, Broadway); The Unfriend (Criterion, West End); A Christmas Carol (Alexandra Palace); Ava: The Secret Conversations (Riverside Studios); Dogs of Europe (Barbican Centre); The Wicker Husband (Watermill Theatre); Rare Earth Mettle and Inside Bitch (Royal Court Theatre); The Lemon Table (Michael Grandage Company); Piaf (Nottingham Playhouse); I Think We Are Alone (Frantic assembly); Noises Off (Garrick, West End); Jellyfish (National Theatre); Sometimes Thinking (National Theatre River Stage); Black&White (SJACC Kuwait); Trying it On (RSC and Royal Court); The Life (English Theatre Frankfurt). She is the sound designer of Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Cello Concerto which premiered in Chicago in 2017 with Yo-Yo Ma as the soloist; and the co-Sound Designer of Robert Wilson and Mikhail Baryshnikov’s Letter to a Man.

Joyce trained with Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Recent Movement credits include: The Marriage of Figaro (Aix Festival), The Midwich Cuckoos (Sky TV), Noises Off (Lyric, Hammersmith/West End), The Outsider, The Cocktail Party (Printroom), and Amedée (Birmingham Rep). Since 2002 Joyce has assisted Deborah Warner on productions including King Lear (Old Vic), Julius Caesar (Barbican), Mother Courage (NT), Death in Venice (ENO) and Dido and Aeneas (Vienna Festival). Also projects with Opera North, RSC, and West Yorkshire Playhouse. In 2012, assisted on the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games and has been a Complicité Associate since 1992, when she joined the company for The Street of Crocodiles. In 2018, Joyce joined Julie Cunningham and Company, co-directing Crave (Barbican Pit) and dramaturgy for new works at The Yard, Walthamstow Art Night and Sadler’s Wells – m/y-kovsky, fire bird, and how did we get here. Acting credits include, Complicité Does A Level Drama, The Magic Flute, Draw Me Close (NT), The Cherry Orchard (Birmingham Rep), Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare’s Globe), Medea (West End & Broadway), Sherlock Holmes in Trouble (Manchester Royal Exchange), Volpone, The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie (both NT) and Flight to Finland with The Right size. Film credits: Benediction, The Last Photograph, The Queen, Burke and Hare, About A Boy and Stella Does Tricks. Currently enjoying being a student of The Feldenkrais Method, a form of movement education that integrates the body, mind, biomechanics and play.

Katie-Ann is an Irish theatre director. She studied drama at University College Dublin and theatre directing at NUIM. Katie-Ann is also an improvisation facilitator and dramaturg. Her directing credits include: Brilliant Jerks (Southwark Playhouse); Charlie Russell Aims to Please Mischief Theatre/ Pleasance Courtyard); You’re Alright Hun (short film); Donal the Numb (VAULT Festival); The Sun, the Moon and the Stars (Yard Theatre) and RAF 100 (Royal Airforce Museum). Most recently she was the Associate Director for As You Like It @sohoplace. She was also the Associate Director on Mischief Theatre’s The Comedy About a Bank Robbery and Groan Ups.
